About The Position

The Production Supervisor directs the efforts of warehouse operations staff and coordinates work to minimize downtime. The role reviews daily personnel needs and recommends overtime or reductions in hours as needed. The supervisor helps oversee shipments to ensure product quality and on-time delivery. The position works closely with other supervisors and the Inside Sales and Production Planning departments to determine machine scheduling based on customer delivery dates, material availability, processing requirements, and logical distribution methods.

Requirements

• Associate or bachelor's degree in a related field and/or commensurate experience.
• At least 5 years of experience in a heavy industrial setting in a supervisory role.
• Proven ability to lead and mentor others.
• Experience with CNC fabrication, welding, and cutting.
• High energy and drive, with strong communication skills.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
• Strong administrative support and computer skills, including Microsoft Suite and ERP systems.
• Ability to work effectively with individuals at all levels of the company.

Nice To Haves

• Steel service-center experience is strongly preferred.
