Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
  • 5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Ability to perform work subject to ITAR/EAR regulations.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Operations, Management or related fields.
  • Experience supervising and leading production personnel.
  • Experience leading teams in a unionized environment.
  • Potential to lead, engage, train, and develop direct reports.
  • Experience with Lean Manufacturing or Continuous Improvement.
  • Aerospace supply chain experience.
  • Passion for the aerospace industry.

Responsibilities

  • Build and lead a highly engaged team; ensure they have what they need to be successful; and keep them safe in order to deliver the highest quality aerospace transparencies on time to our customers.

  • Supervise the daily activities of assigned staff to ensure that the manufacture and control of parts, products, and materials conform to established quality and production standards.

  • Execute Daily Management and Standardized Work through Leader Standard Work.
  • Be open and honest in performance appraisals, supporting and coaching individuals to close performance gaps.
  • Provide opportunities for team members to leverage their strengths and pursue personal development.
  • Ensure a safety-first mindset and compliance with health, safety, and environmental policies.
  • Collaborate with other Team Leaders for optimal performance outcomes.
  • Drive team engagement and follow through on engagement actions.
