About The Position

The PM Production Supervisor monitors and supervises all related areas of the production department as assigned by the Operations Manager.

Requirements

• Experience in a fresh food or production environment
• Must have own transportation
• Must have a working knowledge of the English language
• Basic Mathematical abilities
• Ability to interact across departments
• Ability to train staff on safety requirements and enforce safety requirements

Responsibilities

• Enforce all company policies and procedures
• Maintain an efficient and productive line of cooperation and communication within the Department and through the Organizational Structure
• Review all paperwork required in a neat, legible, and timely manner
• Report all employee absences, tardiness, accidents, company rules infractions, or job performance problems to the Operations Manager or office personnel as assigned.
• Report mechanical problems immediately to the maintenance department and create work orders into Asset Essentials
• Train the assistant supervisor to assume all related duties for days off, illness, vacation, or out of plant work days
• Maintain and populate RedZone as required
• Meet and maintain company objectives and efficiency standards for the department, including: Overtime within seasonal variations, Yield and waste, Occupational Safety, Quality and food safety, Sanitation
• Support Manager by monitoring and reporting performance and disciplinary matters employees while maintaining a high level of morale in the production room by: Treating employees with respect and addressing them by name, Refraining from using harsh language, Being fair and impartial when making judgments, Recognizing employee achievements, Coaching employees
