About The Position

Trane Technologies is hiring a Production Supervisor for its Trenton, New Jersey plant. This on-site role oversees the daily operation of a high-volume, lean manufacturing environment and partners with department leads and supervisors to achieve team and plant goals. The supervisor is responsible for team performance across safety, quality, cost, time, and output, and supports production flow, continuous improvement, employee development, and positive employee relations. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 2:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m.

Requirements

High school diploma or General Education Degree (GED).
Previous manufacturing supervisory or leadership experience.
Excellent problem-solving and conflict-management skills.
Effective communication skills and the ability to work as a supportive team member.

Responsibilities

Oversee team performance, with a focus on safety, quality, cost, time, and output.
Supervise materials usage to maintain smooth production flow.
Identify process improvement opportunities and support ongoing plant programs and goals.
Collaborate with supervisors and leaders across Operations, Quality, HR, Finance, Materials, Engineering, and Continuous Improvement.
Communicate goals and plant-wide initiatives to the leadership team and employees.
Support training, development, and positive employee relations.
Address production issues and support plant performance goals, including units per man hour, safety and 5S, TAKT attainment, and cost.
