About The Position

The Production Supervisor supervises and coordinates the activities of production and operating workers. The role recommends ways to motivate employees and improve production methods, equipment performance, product quality, and efficiency; reviews operations and works with technical or administrative staff to resolve production or processing problems; and develops and implements production tracking and quality control systems. The supervisor analyzes production, quality control, and maintenance data to detect production problems, manages staffing matters, and maintains production reports and personnel records.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required.
• At least 10 years of experience required.
• Verbal communication skills, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage one's time.
• Knowledge of raw materials, production processes, quality control, and other techniques for maximizing the effective manufacture and distribution of goods.
• Knowledge of machines and tools, including their designs, uses, repair, and maintenance.
• Knowledge of design techniques, tools, and principles involved in producing precision technical plans, blueprints, drawings, and models.

• Associate's degree in business or a related field preferred.

Responsibilities
