Production Supervisor - 3rd shift
About The Position
Emerson is hiring a Production Supervisor for its Professional Tools business at its Elyria, Ohio location. The supervisor oversees employees producing components and assemblies that meet specifications and support customer requirements, while fostering a positive employee-relations environment. The role promotes safe work practices, continuous improvement, 5S, and lean workflow. It works with production control to expedite orders and coordinates with support departments as needed. The supervisor maintains departmental records, schedules, and time and attendance information, and participates in root-cause investigations and problem-solving. The position includes approximately 20–25 direct reports and may require visiting a local supplier about once a year.
Requirements
- At least five years of manufacturing supervisory experience.
- Associate degree and/or equivalent education or experience.
- Technological savvy.
- Good oral and written communication skills.
- Legal authorization to work in the United States; sponsorship will not be provided.
- Ability to work third shift.

- CNC machining and assembly experience.
Responsibilities
