About The Position

The Production Supervisor provides strategic operational oversight for an operating facility with a moderate degree of complexity. The role oversees operations and holds facilities accountable to standards for safety, quality, operational effectiveness, and financial performance. The supervisor also spends time performing the same tasks as employees on the team. The position is located in Wyalusing, Pennsylvania.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
• Minimum one year of directly related work experience.
• Able and willing to travel up to 5%.
• Able and willing to work weekends and be on call occasionally to support events and business needs.

Nice To Haves

• One year of supervisory experience.

Responsibilities

• Execute routine operations of the assigned area and ensure direct reports follow policies and procedures related to employee, food and feed safety, and environmental compliance.
• Monitor production outcomes, quantity, and quality to ensure customer and food safety requirements meet specifications.
• Partner with production supervisors to meet customer specifications and timelines.
• Administer the production budget for a department, process, or shift; execute purchase orders and ensure timely invoice payment.
• Develop operational plans and monitor routine operations across production processes, departments, and shifts.
• Develop, supervise, and coach direct reports, including on company core values and guiding principles.
• Make personnel decisions related to hiring, performance, and disciplinary actions for direct reports.
• Perform the same tasks as employees on the team.
• Complete other duties as assigned.
