Production Supervisor (Full Time)
About The Position
TouchPoint Support Services is hiring a full-time Production Supervisor at Saint Thomas West Hospital in Nashville, Tennessee. The role is responsible for setting up and maintaining food production and quality control for food prepared in the kitchen. The supervisor prepares food for an assigned area, assigns work to associates, and helps ensure efficient kitchen operations. The position pays $20.00 to $25.00 per hour. Full-time scheduling is available, with open availability preferred; days and hours may vary and further schedule details are provided during the interview.
Requirements
- Four years of previous cooking experience.
- Open availability is preferred.
- Ability to perform the essential functions of the position satisfactorily, with or without reasonable accommodation.
Responsibilities
- Prepare food items necessary for the assigned area.
- Assign specific duties to supervised associates to support efficient kitchen operation.
- Ensure proper storage and handling of products and follow portion, presentation, and recipe controls.
- Maintain cleanliness of kitchen areas, including food and non-food work areas.
- Report equipment repairs or maintenance needs to the appropriate supervisor or facility department.
- Supervise team members in the absence of the Sous Chef, including disciplining, training, and scheduling associates.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
