We are seeking a Production Supervisor to join our dynamic team at our Pasco, WA facility. As a Production Supervisor at Local Bounti , you will play a crucial role in leading, monitoring, and supervising a group of employees to achieve organizational goals. Requirements

  • Clearly communicate instructions to team members and manage the flow of operations.
  • Effectively manage multiple priorities, including assigning staff to equipment to meet production standards.
  • Possess knowledge of ERP, GMP, GFSI, SQF, and food quality processes.
  • Ability to read, interpret, and communicate technical information.
  • Familiarity with production processes and equipment.
  • Exhibit a keen eye for detail to ensure high-quality results.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree or higher in a related field is preferred.
  • Minimum of 3 or more years of experience in a team leadership role within a manufacturing, agricultural, or food production environment.
  • Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, safety protocols, and industry standards.
  • Experience with performance management, including coaching, mentoring, and providing constructive feedback to team members.
  • Ability to analyze data, generate reports, and make informed decisions to drive team performance and efficiency.
  • Proficient in using computer applications, including Microsoft Office and relevant operational software.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire team members while fostering a positive work environment.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to changing priorities and work under pressure.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the daily activities of the team to ensure smooth operations.
  • Oversees the daily operations of the harvest and pack area and observes environmental standards for production.
  • Ensures all production is on schedule and high quality.
  • Updates and adjusts the short, mid, and long-term production schedules for the different varieties, taking into consideration growth speed, condition, seasonal influences, and demand.
  • Follows and ensures employees follow food safety policies and procedures.
  • Inspire and motivate the team to achieve organizational goals.
  • Develop and implement a timeline to meet targets, keeping projects on track and on schedule.
  • Conduct training to maximize the potential of team members, improving their skills and confidence.
  • Drive LEAN manufacturing processes and develop solutions to close operational gaps.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by the supervisor.
