About The Position

Washington Beef, LLC is seeking a Production Supervisor for the Harvest Division at its production facility in Toppenish, Washington. The supervisor leads front-line employees in delivering the production plan while ensuring employee safety, product quality, and production-line performance standards. The role coaches, develops, and manages employee performance; collaborates with facility teams to align people and operations with organizational goals; and models company values and guiding principles. The supervisor fosters an engaged, motivated team and drives results measured by key performance metrics.

Requirements

• Strong leadership skills and the ability to motivate teams and achieve results through mentoring.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
• Effective coaching and team-building skills.
• Basic abilities in Microsoft Suite applications.

Nice To Haves

• Bilingual English/Spanish.
• At least three years of experience in a beef production environment.
• Previous supervisory experience.

Responsibilities

• Manage direct reports’ performance and promote engagement and performance through regular discussions, coaching, motivation, and career development plans.
• Ensure a safe working environment, enforce safety policies, and promote safety through proactive measures such as safety audits.
• Develop the plant talent pool through employee relations, training, and communication with direct reports.
• Communicate and collaborate across functions to help solve operational issues.
• Facilitate maintenance activities to minimize equipment downtime.
• Use performance metrics in daily operations to ensure departmental performance.
• Adhere to facility quality and product specifications for all products produced.
• Ensure company policies and procedures are followed in accordance with company policies and applicable laws.
• Manage multiple priorities while remaining results-oriented.
• Maintain consistent and punctual attendance.
