About The Position

Crane Aerospace & Electronics is seeking a Production Supervisor I for a leadership development opportunity at their Lynnwood, WA facility. Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree.
  • 2+ years of experience leading teams (internship, co-op, campus leadership, athletics, military service, retail, food service, or other leadership experience).
  • Intermediate skill level with MS Office.
  • Strong communication (written and verbal) with all levels of business.
  • Ability to present to groups both small and large.
  • Effective problem-solving skills.
  • Desire to learn and grow as a leader.
  • Positive attitude and willingness to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
  • Eligibility Requirement: This position may require access to Controlled Data or Information. Where the position requires such access only US Persons will be considered. As a US Department of Defense contractor, we are bound by International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR).

Nice To Haves

  • Previous supervisory experience within an aerospace or electronics manufacturing environment.
  • Basic understanding of manufacturing-based continuous improvement skills (standard work, 5S, material replenishment, etc.).

Responsibilities

  • Lead and support a team of 10-15 manufacturing employees.
  • Learn to manage production schedules and meet customer commitments.
  • Develop leadership style through coaching and mentoring employees.
  • Collaborate with engineering and quality teams to solve manufacturing challenges.
  • Utilize Lean Manufacturing tools and participate in Kaizen events.
  • Drive continuous improvement projects to enhance safety, quality, and efficiency.
  • Understand the process of aerospace product manufacturing from raw material to finished product.
  • Gain experience in making staffing, scheduling, and operational decisions.
