Production Specialists are expected to perform a variety of jobs, tasks or duties as assigned. Production Specialists must be able to work any shift, overtime, weekends, and holidays as required. The Production Specialists must be capable of learning and qualifying on additional positions such as Utility, Operator II and Operator I in order to step up and fill in on an as needed basis. Must show a willingness to learn functions outside of the general laborer duties to help fill in for temporary or permanent vacancies in other jobs. Production Specialists must have the ability to climb stairs, lift, bend, kneel, stand for long periods, work in confined spaces, work with heights, and work in hot and cold temperatures and a dusty environment. Must have a safe working attitude, be an active participant in safety programs, learn and follow written rules and procedures, and produce accurate documentation.
