About The Position
Performs printed circuit insertions and other manual assembly tasks. Prepares printed circuit boards, electronic components, and wire for use in subsequent assembly. Responsible for the proper use of simple machines and hand tools to accomplish these tasks. Responsible for learning and conforming to industry standards for solder connections. Set up work stations and machines using all descriptive and instructional material related to the job assignment. Responsible for following instructions explicitly to complete the assigned operation.
Requirements
- Basic computer navigation skills required.
- Able to lift 40 pounds with or without accommodation, sit 50% - 100% of shift, stand occasionally, fine motor skills and wrist/arm repetitive motion, and simple grasping 50% - 100% of shift.
- Ability to read, write and comprehend spoken work instructions in English.
- Ability to work in a team environment.
- Ability to work independently and be detail oriented.
Responsibilities
- Keep work area neat and organized.
- Actively promote safety and accident prevention by continually observing all safety practices, rules and standards throughout each working day.
- All other duties as assigned.
