About The Position

Closets by Design is a nationally recognized leader in home organizing systems, designing, manufacturing, and installing custom closets, home office furniture, media systems, wall beds, garage cabinetry, and more. The company is seeking a motivated Production shop/CNC operator to work as a shop assistant and help produce custom cabinetry and organizational systems. The company will train the successful candidate to produce quality custom closets, garages, and home organizing systems.

Requirements

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in woodworking or cabinet-making, preferably with 32mm systems.
• Experience with woodworking equipment and hand tools.

Responsibilities

• Safely and efficiently operate woodworking machinery and hand tools, including a CNC.
• Produce and assemble custom cabinetry and organizational systems according to specifications.
• Understand company product lines, machinery, assembly standards, and installation techniques.
• Follow quality control procedures to ensure products meet company standards.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
• Complete additional tasks or projects as defined by the Production Manager.
