About The Position

The CNC Operator produces machined parts by operating computer numerical control (CNC) machines at Milwaukee Tool’s Jackson, Mississippi location. The role also involves operating manual machining equipment, inspecting components, maintaining specifications, and supporting process, productivity, and quality improvements. Requirements

Ability to read and interpret drawings and blueprints.
Sufficient knowledge to interpret technical data accurately.
Mechanical aptitude and basic math skills.
Proficient problem-solving and analytical skills.
Highly detail oriented.
High school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

Operate multiple CNC and manual machining equipment and workstations.
Load, unload, and inspect components according to Operational Method Sheets (OMS), using proper gaging equipment.
Make offsets and adjustments as required.
Independently adjust and maintain part specifications and replenish components.
Inform the Facilitator or Department Manager about processes or equipment requiring attention.
Complete documentation as required or requested.
Participate in continuous improvement projects intended to improve processes, productivity, and quality, especially those related to corrective actions.
Adhere to all safety requirements in the work area.
