About The Position

Milacron is hiring a Barrel Cell - CNC Operations II - 1st Shift FMS Mag team member in Mt Orab, Ohio. The position operates and maintains CNC milling machines to shape and cut metal materials, ensuring finished products meet quality and safety standards while supporting manufacturing operations on first shift.

Requirements

High school diploma with at least 1 year of machining experience, a certificate from a machining program, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Current high school students must be enrolled in a bona fide technical program.
Strong mechanical aptitude and understanding of machining principles.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work.
Effective problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
Ability to work safely in a manufacturing environment.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally.
Ability to stand, walk, sit, reach, handle materials, and perform other physical requirements associated with manufacturing operations.

Responsibilities

Set up and operate CNC milling machines according to project specifications.
Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and design schematics to understand machining requirements.
Select, install, and verify appropriate tooling and equipment for machining operations.
Adjust machine settings, including speed, feed rates, and cutting paths, to meet required specifications.
Monitor machine performance during production runs to ensure proper operation and minimize errors.
Inspect and measure completed parts for compliance with quality standards and engineering specifications.
Perform routine maintenance and basic machine care to support equipment reliability and safety.
Troubleshoot machining and equipment issues during production.
Follow company safety policies, procedures, and manufacturing standards.
Collaborate with team members and leadership to support production goals and continuous improvement efforts.
