About The Position

Shoreline Container is seeking a Production Scheduling Support Coordinator to help keep manufacturing operations on schedule, support on-time customer deliveries, and maintain quality standards. The role connects Production, Scheduling, Quality, and other departments to use resources effectively, keep priorities on track, and improve processes. It is also intended as a leadership development opportunity, providing exposure to production planning, manufacturing operations, quality systems, and cross-functional collaboration. The position develops and adjusts production schedules, monitors progress, communicates changes, and helps address delays. It also supports the Quality Manager by maintaining quality documentation and records, tracking corrective and preventive actions, assisting with audits and process improvements, and helping manage calibration records and schedules. The role is based primarily in office and manufacturing environments and works Monday through Friday, 5:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. The position is full-time, with no travel required. Pay is $25–$28 per hour, based on experience.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple priorities.
Effective written and verbal communication skills.
Basic to intermediate computer skills, including Microsoft Office or comparable business software.
Ability to learn and use ERP/MRP and quality management systems.
Proactive, problem-solving mindset and ability to adapt when priorities change.
Collaborative approach and ability to work effectively with multiple departments in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to perform a combination of sitting, standing, walking, reaching, using hands and fingers, and verbal communication.
Ability to lift or move up to 50 pounds may be required.
Close and distance vision and ability to adjust focus.

Responsibilities

Develop, maintain, and adjust daily and weekly production schedules to support on-time customer delivery and efficient operations.
Coordinate schedules around customer needs, production capacity, staffing, materials, equipment availability, and changing priorities.
Monitor production progress, communicate schedule changes, and help resolve delays or scheduling challenges.
Work with Production, Customer Service, Purchasing, Maintenance, Quality, and other departments to keep operations moving.
Use ERP/MRP and other business systems to maintain schedules, update production information, and track performance.
Identify bottlenecks and recommend practical solutions to improve workflow, productivity, and efficiency.
Support the Quality Manager in maintaining and improving quality systems and documentation.
Maintain, update, and distribute quality procedures, Quality System Manuals (QSMs), and Quality Work Instructions (QWIs).
Help ensure current documentation is accurate, accessible, and aligned with manufacturing processes.
Track corrective and preventive actions, maintain quality records, and assist in evaluating corrective-action effectiveness.
Support internal quality audits, follow-up activities, and process-improvement initiatives.
Assist with calibration schedules, records, and documentation for measuring and inspection equipment.
Communicate production concerns, schedule changes, and quality issues promptly.
Maintain accurate, timely, and confidential production and quality records.
Follow company policies, procedures, quality standards, and safety requirements.
Take initiative, solve problems, and collaborate to support a safe, organized, and productive workplace.
