About The Position

The Production Scheduler will work closely with the production team to ensure there are no barriers to completing the production plan. This role involves reviewing the "coming to buy" (CTB) with purchasing to ensure timely delivery of materials and collaborating with other departments to achieve unit completion dates. The position is responsible for managing the day-to-day production schedule, tracking plant attainment goals, leading delivery actions, and facilitating daily meetings. The scheduler will also work with engineering on revisions, update the daily production plan, ensure the Manufacturing Execution System (MES) is updated, and conduct daily discussions with production regarding shortages to determine which units will be prioritized for the line. A key aspect of this role is ensuring customer dates are met and providing progress updates to Customer Service.

Requirements

  • Degree in Administration or equivalent experience required.
  • A minimum of three years of progressive experience in Planning, Manufacture, Logistics, Purchases, Quality.
  • Including three or more years of direct project management experience.
  • 100% of English written and spoken.
  • Strong personal computer working capabilities in MS Office Suite.
  • Experience with MRP (SAP, Oracle, AS400) or dashboard tool is desirable.

Responsibilities

  • Manage day-to-day production schedule.
  • Review shortages with the purchasing team.
  • Responsible for plant attainment goals and actuals (Daily, weekly & Monthly).
  • Lead delivery actions and FCC daily meetings.
  • Work with engineering to process revisions correctly.
  • Update daily production plan.
  • Ensure the MES is updated with the current status of units.
  • Daily discussion with production on shortages and decide units going to the line.
  • Make sure customer dates are met.
  • Provide feedback and information to Customer Service on the progress of the units.
