About The Position

Tessera is seeking a Motivated and Hardworking Production Scheduler with a Positive/Professional attitude. This role serves as the primary customer service hub for base personnel and external customers via phone, email, and in-person support. The Production Scheduler will process and track work orders daily using CMMS, ensuring accuracy and completeness of data, maintenance records, labor entries, and material transactions. They will review work orders for completeness, correct labor charges, material usage, required documentation, and proper closure. This position supports internal, customer, and government audits by providing necessary documentation and records. The Production Scheduler will coordinate daily maintenance schedules and workload assignments under the direction of the Senior Production Scheduler, ensuring activities align with customer priorities, resource availability, and operational requirements. Maintaining accurate records for timekeeping, maintenance activities, production reports, and operational data is crucial. The role also involves supporting material/supplies/parts procurement, coordinating with Material Coordinators for parts availability, and preparing reports, monthly deliverables, SITREPs, and operational summaries. The Production Scheduler will monitor maintenance status to support mission readiness and ensure timely completion of work. They will provide customers with repair status updates, service coordination, and contractor support, and assist in coordinating emergency and priority maintenance actions. Entering and closing out labor, material, corrective maintenance, and preventive maintenance records in government systems, and ensuring compliance with contract requirements, company procedures, and government regulations are key responsibilities. The Production Scheduler will monitor open work orders and maintenance backlog, escalating potential delays to the Senior Production Scheduler, and collecting data for contractual performance metrics and management reporting. Maintaining accurate maintenance records and government documentation according to retention requirements and audit standards is essential. Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Maximo, NexGen, and related systems is expected.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Minimum of 0-3 years of experience in production scheduling, maintenance planning, work control, logistics coordination, or a related operations environment.
  • Experience using a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS), work order management system, or similar scheduling software.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, Word, and PowerPoint) with excellent organizational, communication, and customer service skills.
  • A valid state driver’s license is required with the ability to obtain and maintain coverage by Tessera’s insurance.
  • Access to a federal military installation requires a REAL ID-compliant driver's license or an acceptable alternative, such as a U.S. passport or military ID, in accordance with the REAL ID Act.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain applicable security clearances and installation access.
  • A background check and E-Verify will be conducted for this position.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary customer service hub for base personnel and external customers via phone, email, and in-person support.
  • Process and track work orders on a daily basis using CMMS.
  • Ensure accuracy and completeness of CMMS data, maintenance records, labor entries, and material transactions.
  • Review work orders for completeness, correct labor charges, material usage, required documentation, and proper closure.
  • Support internal, customer, and government audits by providing work order documentation, records, reports, and maintenance history.
  • Coordinate daily maintenance schedules and workload assignments under the direction of the Senior Production Scheduler.
  • Ensure maintenance activities are scheduled based on customer priorities, resource availability, and operational requirements.
  • Maintain accurate records for time keeping, maintenance activities, production reports, and operational data.
  • Support material/supplies/parts procurement as required.
  • Coordinate with Material Coordinators to verify parts availability and support maintenance scheduling requirements.
  • Prepare reports, monthly deliverables, SITREPs, and operational summaries.
  • Support mission readiness by monitoring maintenance status and ensuring timely completion of scheduled and unscheduled work requirements.
  • Provide customers with repair status updates, service coordination, and contractor support.
  • Assist in coordination and tracking of emergency and priority maintenance actions.
  • Enter and close out labor, material, corrective maintenance, and preventive maintenance records in government systems.
  • Ensure maintenance documentation and scheduling activities comply with contract requirements, company procedures, and government regulations.
  • Monitor open work orders and maintenance backlog and elevate potential delays to the Senior Production Scheduler.
  • Collect and maintain data supporting contractual performance metrics and management reporting requirements.
  • Maintain accurate maintenance records and government documentation in accordance with records retention requirements and audit standards.
  • Demonstrate professionalism, teamwork, sound judgment, and proficiency with Microsoft Office, Maximo, NexGen, and related systems.
  • All Other Duties as Assigned.
