About The Position

TSC is seeking a Production Scheduler in Huntsville, AL. This role involves creating, maintaining, and adjusting production schedules based on customer demand, inventory levels, and capacity constraints. The Production Scheduler will coordinate with production teams to ensure schedules are achievable and aligned with operational goals, monitor work-in-progress, identify bottlenecks, and recommend adjustments. They will also communicate schedule changes to relevant departments, collaborate with procurement to ensure material availability, and track performance metrics. Additionally, the role supports planning improvements, process optimization, production forecasting, and maintaining accurate system data.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in production scheduling, manufacturing planning, or related operations roles
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Proficiency with ERP/MRP systems and scheduling tools.
  • Strong communication and collaboration abilities
  • High attention to detail and strong organizational skills

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in manufacturing, aerospace, or industrial environments
  • Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles
  • Advanced proficiency with Excel, Project, or data analysis tools
  • Costpoint and Aegis Factory Logix are a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Communicate schedule changes to all relevant departments in a timely and clear manner
  • Collaborate with procurement to ensure material availability and resolve shortages
  • Track performance metrics such as on-time delivery, throughput, and schedule adherence
  • Assist with planning improvements, process optimization, and production forecasting
  • Maintain accurate system data, including manufacturing orders, lead times, and capacity planning.
