About The Position

As a Production Scheduler, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our production processes. Your primary responsibility will be to develop, coordinate, and implement production schedules that meet customer demands and optimize resource utilization. The Production Scheduler, under limited supervision, performs routine tasks in coordinating new customer orders, existing customer delivery schedules, and finished product shipments. Plans and prepares manufacturing production schedules and departmental workflows. Must be U.S Persons.

Requirements

  • A Secondary Certificate/High School Diploma or equivalent combination of relevant education and work experience that will allow successful performance of job expectations
  • 1 to 2 years of experience in production planning or scheduling, preferably in the aerospace or defense industry
  • Experience with production scheduling and inventory control systems
  • Proficient Microsoft Windows software applications
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills and attention to detail
  • Strong organizational and planning skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Detail-oriented with a problem-solving mindset
  • Capable of multitasking and managing priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams

Responsibilities

  • Develop, coordinate, and implement production schedules that meet customer demands and optimize resource utilization
  • Perform routine tasks in coordinating new customer orders, existing customer delivery schedules, and finished product shipments
  • Plan and prepare manufacturing production schedules and departmental workflows
  • Forward new orders not promised against existing available promise to schedule and coordinate delivery with Production Control
  • Make additions to master schedule, expedited delivery, special requirements and replacement components
  • Maintain customer delivery dates in line with customer requirements, and master production schedule
  • Allocate inventory to customer shipments and coordinate special requirements, and inspections
  • Provide monthly ship from stock information to the Production Control Manager
  • Perform filing and other clerical type duties
  • Other responsibilities as assigned
