Key responsibilities include issuing shop orders, notifying customer service of schedule changes, and validating the production schedule against available materials. The role also involves completing performance metrics, conducting capacity analyses, and identifying process improvement opportunities. Additionally, the Production Scheduler must understand and comply with the organization's Quality and Environmental Management System procedures, including understanding their role in achieving quality and environmental objectives and responding to emergency situations.
