About The Position

Gladding McBean in Lincoln, CA is a manufacturer of vitrified clay pipe for sewers, clay roof tile, piazza clay floor tile, glazed terra cotta pottery, architectural terra cotta, sacked mortar clay, chimney tops and caps. WHAT THIS ROLE LOOKS LIKE: Under the supervision of the assistant plant manager, this position is responsible for collecting, analyzing, and organizing production data to support planning, scheduling, and workflow coordination across multiple manufacturing departments. This position focuses on backlog analysis, production reporting, and schedule visibility to support management decision-making and on-time delivery of work in all areas of terra cotta; and is responsible for supporting and demonstrating the Core Values of Integrity, Safety, Respect, Customer Focus, Quality, Innovation and Financial Success. Performs other related duties as assigned. ALIFICATIONS To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Requirements

  • Experience in manufacturing production planning, coordination, or data analysis
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, including formulas, tables, and basic data analysis tools
  • Experience creating recurring reports related to backlog, capacity, or production performance
  • Familiarity with production scheduling, job tracking systems, or ERP software
  • Ability to identify trends, risks, and constraints using historical and current production data
  • Ability to interpret production data and translate it into clear, usable reports
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills
  • High attention to detail and data accuracy
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
  • Basic math, writing and reading skills required
  • High school education or equivalent
  • Regular attendance is required

Nice To Haves

  • Knowledge of basic SAP navigation a plus.
  • Background in mechanical engineering a plus.
  • Bilingual in Spanish/English a plus.
