About The Position

Trion IAQ, a subsidiary of Air Distribution Technologies, Inc., is seeking a Production Scheduler for our Sanford, NC manufacturing facility. This role is responsible for creating, maintaining, and optimizing daily and weekly production schedules that support on-time delivery, inventory accuracy, operational efficiency, and customer satisfaction. The Production Scheduler partners closely with Master Scheduling, Materials, Manufacturing, Engineering, and Supply Chain teams to ensure production workflows run smoothly and cost-effectively.

Requirements

  • Two-year degree in Supply Chain, Business, Operations, or related field; or 1–3 years of materials management experience within a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong mechanical and analytical ability.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Internet software, and email.
  • Advanced knowledge of MRP/ERP systems (experience with production scheduling modules preferred).

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in inventory forecasting, production scheduling, and capacity planning is preferred.
  • APICS CPIM or CSCP certification preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Use Master Production Schedule (MPS) outputs to create weekly and daily production schedules that minimize inventory investment, maximize productivity, and support customer service goals.
  • Ensure on-time delivery, inventory accuracy, schedule attainment, and inventory DOH meet plant performance targets.
  • Collaborate with the Master Scheduler to support capacity planning and requirements alignment.
  • Coordinate with Supplier Scheduling, Manufacturing, Quality, and Engineering to ensure timely material availability.
  • Maintain replenishment signals and production-related settings within the ERP system to support efficient material flow.
  • Provide daily production support, including expediting materials, setting priorities, and resolving supply issues.
  • Coordinate the scheduling and movement of outside processing inventory.
  • Maintain strong working relationships and communication with all departments.
  • Operate within budget guidelines and support cost-reduction initiatives.
