Production Racker
About The Position
Empire Coating Inc is currently seeking a Production Racker to join their team. This role is hands-on and focuses on following customer requirements to rack parts in preparation for subsequent processes such as anodize or paint. Requirements
- No previous experience is required.
- Some manufacturing or related experience is a plus but not required.
Responsibilities
- Placing or hanging metal parts on racks to prepare them for various finishing processes, such as plating, anodizing, powder coat or wet paint.
- Unrack parts after processing and remove masking materials after processing.
- Inspect parts before and after the finishing process to ensure they meet quality standards and reporting any defects or non-conformances to supervisors.
- Package completed parts by following customer specifications, prints and guidelines to ensure proper packing of parts.
- Utilize computer system to track job progress and scan in and out of jobs.
- Adhere to all safety regulations, especially when working with chemicals, tools or other equipment.
- Operate, maintain and clean manufacturing equipment and work area.
