$60,000 - $65,000

About The Position

In this role, you'll own the flow of information that too often moves inconsistently between departments: translating sales demand into production releases, keeping inventory accurate, and acting as the first point of contact when questions about stock or fulfillment come up. You'll work closely with Production, Sales, and key partners to make sure the plant is always building the right product at the right time.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • 2+ years of experience in production planning, inventory control, scheduling, or supply chain coordination, ideally in a manufacturing or food production environment.
  • Hands-on experience with an ERP or inventory management system.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and general office software.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced operational setting.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally.

Nice To Haves

  • associate's or bachelor's degree in business, supply chain, or a related field preferred.
  • Strong organizational and follow-through ability; you're comfortable owning a process end-to-end.
  • Working knowledge of ERP / inventory systems, and quick to pick up new planning tools.
  • A keen eye for detail when it comes to inventory data and reconciliation.
  • A clear communicator who can translate between sales and production language.
  • Calm under shifting priorities, with a knack for triaging competing demands.

Responsibilities

  • Execute releases to production from ERP and planning systems.
  • Create production orders for each production room.
  • Issue and adjust orders as demand and priorities shift.
  • Help schedule production when new orders come up, balancing sales commitments against capacity and material availability.
  • Coordinate with the Plant Manager and Production Manager on sequencing and priorities.
  • Monitor inventory and proactively alert the team when items run low.
  • Own accurate inventory reporting; work across departments to reconcile and maintain data integrity.
  • Surface discrepancies and drive resolution with the relevant parties.
  • Identify aging and slow-moving inventory and bring it to the attention of Sales for action.
  • Act as the key liaison with key partner production planning teams to ensure sales demands are met.
  • Own the daily sell-over processes with key partners.
  • Manage sales to designated partner accounts.
  • Provide Sales with visibility into inventory levels and production timing.
  • Help answer questions and resolve issues on sell-overs.
  • Serve as the go-to liaison connecting Sales, Production, and Inventory.
