This position is a support role to the Master Scheduling Department. The intern will co-ordinate with the Master Scheduler to develop, monitor, and maintain Master Production Build Schedules, and will interface with customers on all order fulfillment activities.

Requirements

  • High School or equivalent.
  • Two years experience in the manufacturing planning field and/or college related courses.
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business data with some knowledge of spreadsheets and general accounting practices.
  • Demonstrated organizational skills, with the ability to handle and prioritize multiple projects simultaneously in a timely manner in a fast-paced environment.

  • Ability to read, write, and speak Vietnamese, Chinese, and/or Spanish

Responsibilities

  • Develops, publishes and maintains the Master Production Schedule for accounts assisting on.
  • Initiates corrective actions to product schedules when dictated by change in business.
  • Facilitate the Expediting/De-Expediting of all schedule changes.
  • Enters and maintains all customer order activities in compliance with the established business agreements/contracts of assigned accounts.
  • Responds to customer inquiries on open/closed orders, product availability, lead-times, and pricing.
  • Facilitates and manages spare parts, sales orders and schedules for assigned accounts.
  • Performs other duties when required that are outside of normal job duties.
  • Participates in new/sustaining product teams, representing Purchasing, Master Scheduling, and Customer Service.
  • Participates in the Change Control Board activities that include the coordinating of Engineering Change Notice (ECN) affectivity with Purchasing, Planning, and Production.
  • Ensures Expedites and/or reschedules are administered to the corporate guidelines and appropriate business practices.
