About The Position

Arkansas Mailing Services was formed in 2004, in North Little Rock, Arkansas. We started with customers in the Central Arkansas area but now have customers from all over the country using our services. Our mission here at AMS is to Make Mailing Easy for our customers by providing them with a one-stop-shop for all their printing and mailing needs. Our company has been growing steadily over the last few years and continues to grow based on our excellent values and integrity. Word-of-mouth advertising has also played a significant role in our business becoming what it is today. We provide excellent customer service, place strong emphasis on security, and maintain top-of-the-line printing and mailing equipment in North Little Rock.

Requirements

Experienced Operators for Mail Inserters
Experienced Print Machine Operators
Experienced Operators for Multi-Line Optical Character Reader (MLOCR) lines.
Ability to read and write in English
Ability to communicate effectively with the Presort Supervisor.
Ability to give clear instructions and ensure they are followed.
Ability to follow instructions.

Nice To Haves

Knowledge of USPS rules, regulations and procedure is a PLUS

Responsibilities

Ensure that all equipment is set up correctly and manned with a competent work force.
Oversee machine processing on multiple lines.
Oversee quality assurance measures including spot checking of tray labeling, strapping, and cage placards.
Provide complete and accurate VAR documentation to the USPS acceptance clerk.
Meet processing schedules for timely truck pick-ups
Other job-related instructions as requested by the Presort Supervisor.
