About The Position

As a Production Operator (Bulk Unloader) on Land O’Lakes, Inc.’s manufacturing team, you will perform front-line production processes that add value and quality to raw materials and help create finished products. The work includes operating machinery and equipment and packaging final products. This role is part of the Purina Animal Nutrition business, which serves producers and animal owners throughout the United States. The position is at a union facility and is covered by a Collective Bargaining Agreement.

The pay rate is $27.35 per hour, plus a $1.00 shift differential. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 10:30 PM to 7:00 AM, with weekends, overtime, and holidays as needed.

Requirements

• Must be 18 years or older.
• At least 1 year of work experience in any industry.
• Basic computer and math skills.
• Ability to read, write, comprehend, and follow verbal and written instructions in English.
• Willingness to learn new skills, problem-solve, and troubleshoot.
• Strong collaboration and communication skills, with a consistently respectful approach.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to perform frequent active movements, including walking, standing, bending or stooping, turning, twisting, pushing, pulling, raising arms, lifting, and climbing.
• Ability to perform duties while wearing personal protective equipment.
• Ability to work for extended periods in cold and/or hot temperature zones, potentially in areas with dust and chemicals.

Nice To Haves

• At least 1 year of manufacturing work experience.
• Machine operation and/or forklift experience.
