About The Position

The Production Operator prepares, executes, and cleans or turns over production processes in poultry vaccine production. Work is performed in accordance with internal and external guidelines. The role includes egg handling and egg-derived processes, tissue culture, centrifugation, concentration, filling, process and equipment preparation, and cleaning and disinfection. The operator also helps ensure materials are available and uses electronic systems such as SAP to stage materials.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
Ability to perform routine, repetitive tasks with moderate to limited supervision.
Ability to perform duties according to established SOPs, production records, and company safety procedures.

Understanding and practice of proper aseptic technique and biosecurity measures.
Ability to complete documentation concurrently while following established protocols.

Responsibilities

Handle eggs, including receipt, traying, disinfection, and transfer.
Perform egg-derived and tissue culture processes, including candling, incubation, inoculation, harvest, and inactivation.
Perform centrifugation, concentration, and filling operations, including product emulsification, liquid filling, and lyophilization.
Prepare processes and equipment, and perform process cleaning and disinfection.
Wash, wrap, and sterilize glassware and equipment; load and unload autoclaves; and disinfect room surfaces and equipment.
Ensure appropriate quantities of materials, including chemicals and consumables, are available.
Use electronic systems such as SAP to stage materials.
Maintain procedural conformance during production, including weekday and weekend operations.
Notify supervisors or support staff by phone, email, or Teams to escalate product non-compliances or equipment failures.
Complete required training on time and maintain a current learning plan.
