About The Position

The Production Operator manufactures quality products safely, primarily by preparing seating molds, inserting components, removing finished foam seating pads, and inspecting and preparing products for shipment. The role may involve simple hand tools and special assembly tools. This is a temporary, onsite assignment in Hebron, Ohio, with a stated duration of six months. Available schedules are first shift (6:50 a.m.–3:20 p.m.) and third shift (10:40 p.m.–7:10 a.m., Sunday through Thursday).

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Ability to pass pre-hire requirements, including a background check and drug screening.
• Ability to stand and/or walk for long periods.

Nice To Haves

• Light to medium manufacturing experience.

Responsibilities

• Place applicable inserts, such as support wires, Velcro, seat frames, and felt pieces, into seating molds according to customer standards.
• Remove finished foam seating pads from molds and place them on a conveyor for the next finishing stage.
• Remove foam particles from molds and apply a thin layer of aerosol-wax demolding agent.
• Inspect product quality and repair marked defects by cutting back to the part’s contour.
• Pack finished goods according to placard specifications.
• Disassemble scrapped products to salvage material.
• Clean surrounding work areas.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
