About The Position

The Production Operator at PPG’s Rock Hill Plant operates and maintains production equipment to support safe, efficient, and quality-focused manufacturing operations. The role involves equipment setup and monitoring, routine inspections and cleaning, basic maintenance, reporting malfunctions, maintaining production standards, and transporting materials and equipment as needed.

The position is performed in a manufacturing or warehouse environment, with exposure to machinery and potentially hot or cold temperatures. It requires standing for extended periods and frequent lifting, bending, reaching, walking upstairs, and repetitive movements. Employees must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and work effectively with a team.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Effective communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks.
• Ability to lift, bend, reach, and walk upstairs as required.
