About The Position

The Production Operator operates and monitors packaging equipment in a pharmaceutical manufacturing cleanroom. The role supports washing, packaging, vision inspection, and sterilization processes, including interactions with SAP, and produces rubber stoppers according to productivity standards. Work must comply with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), regulatory standards, standard operating procedures (SOPs), work instructions (WIs), and company procedures while maintaining safety, quality, and efficiency. This is a first-shift position from 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
Ability to speak, read, and write English to understand operating and related procedures and complete position-related documentation.
Ability to perform basic arithmetic.
Basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

Perform assigned duties under the guidance of a Supervisor or Crew Leader and complete them in a timely manner.
Operate washing, packaging, vision inspection, steam sterilizer, and auxiliary equipment.
Ensure equipment is maintained in good, safe working condition and keep the work area clean, safe, and organized.
Monitor equipment performance and recommend improvements.
Follow organizational and job-specific instructions and attend applicable training and meetings.
Meet defined productivity standards and organize and perform work effectively.
Follow safety regulations, promote workplace and team safety, identify potential safety risks, and report them to the line manager.
Adapt to changes in tasks, workplace, or team; work reliably; keep agreements; and take responsibility for assigned tasks.
Contribute constructively to team problem-solving and share and accept information and knowledge.
Participate in department or quality team meetings and suggest and help implement improvements as assigned.
Train new operators or trainees when requested.
Perform other duties as assigned.
