Production Operator - Boxer - 1st shift
About The Position
Vericast is hiring an entry-level Production Operator to operate production equipment in a manufacturing environment. The operator monitors equipment performance, efficiency, and product quality; troubleshoots and corrects system or quality problems; replenishes materials as they are depleted; and maintains production, efficiency, and quality records. Other duties may be assigned. Employees are expected to demonstrate the company's Core Values and use Performance Excellence principles to improve effectiveness, efficiency, products, and services, including participating in improvement teams, recommending and implementing ideas, and taking part in training and other activities to stay current on processes and information. The position is scheduled Monday through Friday, 6:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. It offers an hourly rate of $17.50 or more, depending on experience, with eligibility for a $0.50-per-hour wage increase after 90 days. Paid breaks and lunch are provided. The job is performed in a manufacturing setting and involves regular standing, kneeling, bending, walking, and stooping. The posting also states that employees must be able to stand for 12-hour shifts.

Responsibilities
