About The Position

Vericast is hiring an entry-level Production Operator - Boxer to operate production equipment in a manufacturing environment. The operator monitors equipment performance, efficiency, and quality; troubleshoots and corrects system and quality issues; replenishes materials; and maintains production, efficiency, and quality records. No prior experience is required. This first-shift position is scheduled Monday through Friday, 6:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., with paid breaks and lunch. The listed hourly pay rate is $17.50 or more, depending on experience, with eligibility for a $0.50-per-hour wage increase after 90 days. The work involves regular standing, kneeling, bending, walking, and stooping; the posting also states that employees must be able to stand for 12-hour shifts. Responsibilities

Operate production equipment while monitoring overall performance, efficiency, and quality.
Troubleshoot system performance and quality problems, correct them, and stabilize performance as they occur.
Replenish materials as they are depleted.
Maintain production, efficiency, and quality records.
Perform other duties as assigned.
