About The Position

The Entry Level Production Operator works in the Manufacturing department, handling and assembling explosives and explosives products in accordance with standard operating procedures. The role includes on-the-job training under a trained operator to learn basic entry-level operator skills. The employee performs basic job duties, may be assigned other duties, and must be able to fill in for a production lead person. The position regularly involves exposure to energetic material.

Requirements

• Must be mobile without aid or accessories.
• Must be able to lift 55 lbs. without assistance.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Strict adherence to safety directives.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Handle and assemble explosives and explosives products in accordance with standard operating procedures.
• Complete on-the-job training under a trained operator to learn basic entry-level operator skills.
• Perform basic job duties and other duties as assigned.
• Be able to fill in for a production lead person.
