About The Position

The Production Operator supports safe and efficient plant operations by operating equipment, maintaining product quality, completing inspections, and ensuring reliable production output. The role involves hands-on work in a manufacturing environment and a commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement.

Requirements

• Strong understanding of workplace safety standards and procedures.
• Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting ability.
• Ability to complete production records and documentation.
• Strong attention to detail and teamwork skills.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, climb, push, pull, and lift up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to wear required personal protective equipment and obtain respirator clearance.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in a manufacturing, mining, processing, or industrial environment.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate plant equipment, including crushers, conveyors, elevators, and forklifts.
• Control material flow to produce products that meet established quality standards.
• Complete daily operational and 6S inspections in accordance with plant procedures.
• Perform routine preventive maintenance and housekeeping activities.
• Complete cleanup tasks, including vacuuming, sweeping, and shoveling as needed.
• Maintain the cleanliness, organization, and overall upkeep of equipment and work areas.
• Communicate plant operating status and equipment conditions with maintenance and plant leadership.
• Report safety concerns, near misses, injuries, and equipment issues.
• Collaborate with team members to support production goals and continuous improvement efforts.
