About The Position

Panduit is hiring a Production Operator to work in manufacturing, operating production equipment and ensuring product quality. The role includes packaging, labeling, and cartoning products while verifying label accuracy, package seal integrity, and counts per package and carton. The operator starts up, runs, and shuts down manual, semi-automatic, and automatic assembly and production machines and processes; performs quality inspections under Panduit’s quality systems and procedures; follows safety guidelines; and completes daily 5S activities to eliminate waste and improve efficiency. The position requires the physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds, perform repetitive tasks, and remain on one’s feet for most of the shift. The stated shift is 11:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m. Panduit describes the workspace as air-conditioned.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Ability to learn and adapt to new skills and knowledge quickly.
• Basic mathematical skills and proficiency in using a calculator.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, perform repetitive tasks, and be on one’s feet for the majority of the shift.
• Must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis; Panduit will not sponsor work visas.

Responsibilities

• Package, label, and carton products, ensuring label accuracy, package seal integrity, and correct counts per package and carton.
• Start up, operate, and shut down manual, semi-automatic, and automatic assembly and production machines and processes.

• Follow Panduit safety guidelines and procedures.
