Production Operator Trainee
About The Position
The Production Operator Trainee works in the Coating or Converting department and performs assigned work in the manufacturing area according to scheduled production requirements. The role operates production equipment safely, productively, efficiently, and with attention to quality to help achieve daily, weekly, and monthly production goals. The position requires a self-motivated, cooperative employee with excellent attendance who follows work rules and uses critical reasoning to address issues affecting safety, quality, and productivity. The role reports to the Production Supervisor.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
- Ability to work any shift.
- Ability to work weekends and overtime.
- Self-motivated and cooperative, with excellent attendance.
Nice To Haves
- One to three years of prior manufacturing experience; preferred but not required.
