Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience in an industrial operations setting, such as refining, chemical, or manufacturing.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Demonstrated math skills.
• Ability to work well as part of a team and independently.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks at once.
• Attention to detail.
• Basic computer skills.
• Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces, including climbing tanks, towers, ladders, and pipe racks.
• Must pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check.
• A clean MVR is required.

• Knowledge of petroleum products is helpful.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload barges, railcars, and trucks.
• Gauge tanks and perform water draws.
• Gather samples and submit them to the lab for analysis.
• Read and record tank temperatures.
• Perform routine maintenance duties.
• Inspect and monitor equipment.
• Perform surveillance rounds.
• Maintain good working relationships with co-workers and customers.
• Maintain safe working habits and a “Safety First” attitude.
