About The Position

The Production Operator I will build medical device products through assembly, inspection, and testing. The work also includes occasional microscope use, packaging, and boxing. The role includes cross-training, and the manager is interested in candidates with prior soldering and microscope experience for some backfilled positions. The selected candidate is expected to start as soon as screening is complete.

The position is for Medical Devices in the AVD Division at the New Brighton location in St. Paul, Minnesota. Operators must gown up using a hair net, beard net, shoe covers, and safety glasses, and operate electrical torque drivers and screwdrivers.

Requirements

• One to three years of clean-room experience working with medical devices in the medical device industry.
• Some medical-device assembly experience.
• Ability to speak, read, and write English.
• High school diploma or GED.

Nice To Haves

• Previous soldering experience.
• Previous microscope experience.
• Preferably, an understanding of FDA and GMP standard operating procedures.
