About The Position

At Dover Fueling Solutions (DFS), the Production Operator I is an entry-level manufacturing production role. Manufacturing Production Workers set up, operate, maintain, and troubleshoot production equipment used for machining, processing, assembly, or packaging. They operate equipment to manufacture products according to production specifications, schedules, volume, cost and wastage targets, and quality standards; move, pack, and sort raw materials or finished goods; monitor output quality and identify, discard, or remake faulty products; and maintain accurate daily production records for manufacturing performance analysis. This Support 1 position typically requires little to no prior knowledge or experience. Work is routine or follows standard procedures, is closely supervised, and involves communicating information that requires little explanation or interpretation.

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, maintain, and troubleshoot manufacturing production equipment.
• Operate machine tool, chemical processing, assembly, or packaging equipment to manufacture products according to production specifications, schedules, volume/cost/wastage targets, and quality standards.
• Move, pack, and sort raw materials or finished goods.
• Monitor output quality and identify, discard, or re-manufacture faulty products.
• Maintain accurate daily production records for manufacturing performance analysis.
