About The Position

As a Production Operator at Owens Corning Delmar, you will work as part of a crew assisting the manufacturing process for insulation. Duties include packaging and repurposing insulation, troubleshooting machinery, verifying product quality, and following general housekeeping and safety practices. The position is performed in person and involves rotating 12-hour shifts, alternating between days and nights. The schedule is three days on, three days off, followed by three nights on and three days off. Expected hours are 36 per week, and overtime and rotating weekends are listed in the schedule. The day-shift rate is $28.00 per hour and the night-shift rate is $29.25 per hour. A $1,000 sign-on bonus and holiday pay are also offered.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 3 years of experience in manufacturing, machine operating, or packaging; the posting separately lists 2 to 3 years of manufacturing experience as required.
• Ability to secure and maintain a forklift driver’s license.
• Ability to work 12-hour shifts and rotating shifts that alternate between days and nights.
• Ability to pass the WorkKeys assessment.
