About The Position

Cretex Medical is a contract manufacturer of precision components and assemblies for the medical device industry. The Production Operator Assembler performs manufacturing, assembly, inspection, packaging, and secondary operations according to customer specifications, work instructions, prints, and applicable quality requirements. The role uses production equipment, hand tools, sealing equipment, microscopes, and measurement tools, and may involve handling cleaning chemicals such as isopropyl alcohol, detergents, or solvents. The position requires accurate completion of production and quality documentation, reporting quantities and process information in the ERP system, maintaining a clean and organized work area, communicating production issues, participating in training and meetings, and cross-training across manufacturing areas. The schedule is Friday through Sunday, 6:00 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. Cretex Medical describes its workplace as collaborative, safety-focused, and committed to employee growth and continuous improvement. Compensation is listed at $18.00–$22.00 per hour, with separate ranges for Production Operator I ($18.00–$20.00) and Production Operator II ($19.00–$22.00). Responsibilities

Operate production equipment to produce component parts according to work instructions and prints, using the correct materials, tooling, processes, programs, chemical handling procedures, and forms.
Inspect, assemble, and package components and medical devices according to customer specifications.
Use microscopes or other visual equipment regularly to inspect parts.
Inspect and monitor product quality against visual and dimensional requirements, including verifying conformance after secondary operations.
Operate hand tools, basic manual equipment, sealing equipment, and designated secondary-operation equipment.
Perform secondary operations such as trimming, deburring, cleaning, laser marking, laser welding, and finishing.
Use measurement tools such as gauge pins, calipers, and tape measures to verify accuracy.
Monitor production processes, part quality, and machine performance; perform basic operator-level machine checks, including cleanliness and safe-operation checks.
Complete production and quality paperwork, including quality history records, setup sheets, checklists, process rate charts, and other required records.
Accurately record and report quantities, process parameters, and hours worked in the ERP system.
Maintain an organized, clean work area in accordance with 5S expectations.
Follow work instructions, standard work, and applicable quality, ISO, cGMP, and medical-device regulatory requirements; support and comply with the Quality System.
Communicate issues involving materials, equipment, or processes promptly.
Collaborate with team members, provide input to the area lead, and participate in company meetings and required training.
Cross-train in other production areas when required.
Perform other duties as assigned.
