About The Position

This role involves general labor duties within a production manufacturing environment. The technician will be responsible for a variety of tasks including loading and unloading cleaning equipment, assembly, inspection, testing, packaging, and other duties related to all production areas. The position requires the ability to operate various specialized equipment and to follow standard operating procedures, including the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE). Cross-training and flexibility to assist in other production areas based on the schedule are also expected. Occasional work in clean room, clean line, or assembly areas may be required.

Requirements

  • High level of production skills
  • Good work ethic with strong attention to detail
  • Understanding of controlled process regulations
  • Ability to operate microscopes, profilometers, lapping machine, air and electric drivers, impulse wire bag sealers and leak, flow and function testing equipment
  • Ability to operate ultra sonic wash, electro polish and insert installation stations
  • Ability to use material replenishment reordering system
  • Ability to perform assigned preventative maintenance tasks
  • Ability to cross train and assist other production areas
  • Ability to work in clean room, clean line or assembly areas
  • Understanding and ability to follow Standard Operating Procedures
  • Proper use of required PPE

Responsibilities

  • Loading and unloading various types of cleaning equipment
  • Miscellaneous assembly
  • Inspecting, alcohol wiping, swabbing, carrying plates, nitrogen dry parts
  • Leak, function and flow testing
  • Bagging, packaging
  • Operating microscopes, profilometers, lapping machine, air and electric drivers, impulse wire bag sealers, and leak, flow and function testing equipment
  • Operating ultra sonic wash, electro polish and insert installation stations
  • Monitoring supplies and using the material replenishment reordering system
  • Performing assigned preventative maintenance tasks
  • Cross-training and assisting other production areas as needed
  • Working in clean room, clean line or assembly areas as workflow dictates
  • Understanding and following all Standard Operating Procedures
  • Proper use of required PPE (coveralls, boots, hairnets/headcovers/face shields, gloves, etc.)
