About The Position

The Production Technician supports consistent, compliant manufacturing output by operating encapsulation equipment according to standard operating procedures (SOPs) and current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP). This is an onsite, full-time, day-shift role based in Marietta, Georgia. The technician prepares and runs production lines, monitors product throughout the process, confirms counts and weights, and maintains accurate production and batch records. The role also includes quality checks, packaging and labeling, equipment and workspace cleaning, minor mechanical adjustments, troubleshooting, and communication with leads and teammates about issues and handoffs.

Requirements

Mechanical aptitude and comfort working around production machinery.
Strong attention to detail and reliable documentation habits.
Clear verbal and written communication.
Ability to work independently and maintain pace in a fast-moving environment.
Ability to follow procedures and work safely.

Responsibilities

Set up, operate, and monitor encapsulation machines according to SOPs and cGMP procedures.
Weigh materials using hand scales and package and label finished product accurately.
Complete production records and batch documentation clearly and on time.
Perform in-process quality checks and basic inspections.
Clean and sanitize equipment and work areas after production runs.
Make minor mechanical adjustments and troubleshoot equipment issues.
Communicate issues and handoffs with leads and teammates.
Review the daily schedule and prepare the production line before production starts.
Confirm counts and weights and keep paperwork current as product moves through production.
Close out records, communicate status to the next point of contact, and leave the station ready for the next shift.
