About The Position

XNRGY Climate Systems is seeking a Production Manager to oversee second shift production operations at their Mesa-one production site. The role involves ensuring safety, quality, and productivity targets are met, leading production teams, managing resources, and driving continuous improvement. This position requires leadership in manufacturing, hands-on HVAC expertise with compressor systems, and the ability to balance operational efficiency with safety and quality.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of experience in manufacturing leadership, with proven expertise in commercial HVAC systems (compressor equipment required).
  • Demonstrated success managing production teams and achieving operational targets in HVAC, Automotive, or similar industries.
  • Strong knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement practices.
  • Ability to troubleshoot chiller units and compressor HVAC systems.
  • Excellent leadership, mentoring, and team development skills.
  • Strong problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making abilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment while maintaining safety and quality standards.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Operations Management, or a related field preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage production teams, assigning tasks, providing guidance, and motivating team members to maximize productivity and quality.
  • Ensure labor efficiency and resource allocation (people, equipment, and materials) to meet production goals.
  • Collaborate with leadership and cross-functional teams to achieve production targets.
  • Mentor, coach, and develop employees to foster engagement and performance excellence.
  • Meet and maintain safety, quality, and production metrics across the Mesa site.
  • Monitor and enforce quality control processes to ensure all products meet established standards.
  • Investigate and address production or quality issues as they arise, implementing corrective actions.
  • Generate regular performance reports, including productivity, quality, and efficiency metrics, for management review.
  • Lead the implementation of new production lines to support capacity expansion and product innovation.
  • Promote and apply Lean and Six Sigma methodologies to improve efficiency, reduce waste, and optimize processes.
  • Identify opportunities for process optimization and oversee implementation of improvements to drive operational excellence.
  • Provide input and recommendations to enhance chiller production processes.
  • Troubleshoot chiller unit performance issues as required.
  • Support engineering and production teams with technical expertise in compressorized HVAC systems.
  • Work closely with engineering, inventory control, and supply chain teams to ensure material availability and minimize waste.
  • Align with cross-functional departments to support operational and organizational goals.
