Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will direct and supervise production personnel and provide leadership across the 2nd‑shift operations team to produce high‑quality products at targeted cost and performance standards. You will coordinate raw material availability, ensure production equipment supports demand, and develop front‑line leaders and teams to meet all production requirements while partnering with Human Resources on staffing, performance, and development. A Taste of Your Responsibilities Oversee food safety and product quality expectations. Supervise production line supervisors to ensure products meet Company specifications and achieve production, usage, and labor goals. Allocate labor to achieve or exceed Company standards. Oversee cleanliness and sanitation of production areas. Ensure compliance with Occupational Safety and Health Administration regulations and all Company policies. Confirm production teams are trained in required job tasks. Maintain flow of critical information across all levels and shifts. Monitor ingredient usage to meet plant standards while upholding quality. Coordinate production needs with Maintenance and Engineering to support plant performance. Promote continuous improvement in safety, cost efficiency, and product quality. Maintain a safe environment for all employees. Ensure safety training and awareness is delivered by front‑line supervisors. Support plant safety programs. Report ingredient usage and labor details for costing and recall requirements. Share key metrics with supervisors to promote continuous improvement. Partner with Human Resources on staffing, evaluations, counseling, and development. Ingredients Required for Your Success Associate’s Degree is required. Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Biology, Industrial Management, or related field is preferred Four to six years of related experience in the food industry or equivalent combination of education and experience. Demonstrates strength in interpreting business publications, technical materials, and regulatory documents. Produces clear and accurate reports, business correspondence, and procedural documentation. Communicates information effectively and responds to questions from diverse stakeholder groups. Applies concepts of basic algebra and geometry to operational needs. Resolves practical problems in situations with limited standardization.
