Location: For this position, you will undergo training at our Morristown, TN location. Upon completing the year-long training program, you will be required to relocate to one of our manufacturing sites in the Midwest or Northeast.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in business or a related discipline, or equivalent work experience.
Proficiency in MS Excel spreadsheets is a must.

Responsibilities

Master our products and procedures through immersive on-the-job training.
Learn lumber math and efficiency to maximize material utilization, understanding cuts and yields.
Operate our business system to perform essential administrative functions.
Understand product costing and how to manage budgets and expenses effectively.
Grasp production scheduling to keep operations running smoothly.
Supervise activities in line with company policies, procedures, and regulations.
Learn about efficiency standards and safety practices to drive continuous improvement.
Gain insights into Human Resources policies and practices.
Travel to other UFP facilities and customer locations to get a comprehensive view of our operations.
Complete various courses and assignments.
Prepare detailed reports.
Be ready to tackle other exciting tasks as needed.
