About The Position

Wagstaff, Inc. is hiring a Production Machine Operator to support its manufacturing operations. The role assists with the setup, operation, and maintenance of CNC mills, lathes, and high-precision industrial metal-cutting equipment. The operator works hands-on with machinery, follows documented processes, and helps ensure products meet quality standards. The position is on the 3rd shift, 11 PM–7 AM, with a stated salary range of $20.00–$26.55 per hour. Employment is dependent on successfully passing a company-paid drug screening and background check upon hire.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED.
Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
Basic mechanical aptitude and interest in learning industrial machinery.
Willingness to learn machine safety procedures and proper PPE use.
Ability to use simple measuring tools such as a tape measure or ruler, or willingness to learn.
Good attention to detail, with a focus on producing accurate cuts.
Ability to work safely around large materials and moving equipment.
Basic math skills for measuring, counting, and reading dimensions.
Dependable, punctual, and able to work in a team environment.
Must pass a company-paid drug screening and background check upon hire.

Nice To Haves

Experience in a manufacturing or warehouse environment.
Exposure to hand tools or basic shop tools.
Familiarity with reading simple work orders or production sheets.
Interest in learning CNC controls and automated equipment.
Ability to lift materials and assist with loading and unloading using a forklift or overhead crane.
